Ray of Hope Eyecare

Mission Statement

Ray of Hope Eye Care, Inc. is a non-profit humanitarian service organization that provides medical, surgical, and educational services in underdeveloped areas. Volunteer ophthalmologists and a support staff are committed to restoring sight and to raising awareness of the causes of preventable vision loss.

Objectives and Activities

Ø Provide free surgical and medical eye care

Ø Educating the public about vision and eye health

Ø Conducting clinical vision research

Ø Providing continuing education opportunities for medical students, ophthalmic residents, and ophthalmic technicians

Ø Establishing permanent eye care facilities to be staffed by trained local personnel
